From November 2020, all public principals in Germany must be able to receive electronic invoices (eInvoices) from suppliers. According to Directive 2014/55/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, electronic invoices should have a structured XML format. In Poland it is planned to introduce this solution from 1.1.2022 for willing entities, and from 1.1.2023 it is planned to be mandatory.
As a result, many suppliers face the challenge of issuing and sending structured electronic invoices.
